It is with deep regret that the National Summit on Black and Hispanic Greek-Letter Organizations to be held in College Station, Texas, on September 27-30has been canceled. In light of the recent financial downturn, higher education institutions across the nation are confronting budget cuts, layoffs and furloughs. These maladies have in turn exacted a profound impact on the budgets of Greek life divisions across the country. Thus, due to our mounting concerns regarding the low registration numbers we have received to-date, the National Association of Student Affairs Executive Board in conjunction with the Summit Planning Committee has decided to execute this decision.
We wish to thank those who have submitted conference registration fees as well as our generous donors who have provided funding to support this event—refunds will be immediately processed and returned to you.
We applaud the efforts of the Summit Planning Committee and wish to also thank them for their tireless efforts in pulling together what was to be a monumental event!
Forward any questions you may have to our email address (nasapsummit@gmail.com). Please accept our sincerest apologies and we thank you for supporting the National Summit on Black and Hispanic Greek-Letter Organizations!
