Panhellenic (CPC) Organizations: sororities

A formal week is held the week prior to fall
classes to allow prospective members and organizations to learn more about
each other (also known as "Sorority
Recruitment")
-
The sponsors a formal process in late August prior to fall
term for all CPC-affiliated organizations.
- Interested students must register with
TAMU in order to participate in our recruitment process. Registering
with a local or hometown Panhellenic association is NOT part of the TAMU process,
that is an optional step.
- Some individual organizations who are not at the campus chapter total may host an informal process during the academic
year.
- Can women who are enrolled in the Blinn TEAM Program participate in the Panhellenic recruitment process?
No.
Interfraternity (IFC) Organizations: fraternities

A formal week is held the second week
(approximately) of classes
to allow prospective members and organizations to learn more about each
other.

Formal Recruitment occurs both in Fall and Spring semesters.

Can men who are enrolled in the Blinn TEAM
program join an IFC organization? YES.
Multicultural Greek (MGC) Organizations: culturally-based fraternities and sororities

Information for potential new members is provided at MSC Open House.

Each organization holds informational meetings at
various points in the school year.

Can men or women who are enrolled in the Blinn
TEAM program join a Multicultural Greek organization? No.
National Pan-Hellenic Organizations
(NPHC): historically African-American fraternities and
sororities

NPHC groups go through an "Intake
Process"

Each organization holds informational meetings at
various points in the school year.

Can men or women who are enrolled in the Blinn
TEAM program join a National Pan-Hellenic Greek organization? No.
